Birth Doula Support

Steady, personal support as you prepare for birth, move through labor, and welcome your baby.

Every birth is different. Our role is to help you feel prepared, supported, and cared for throughout the process while honoring the birth experience you want for yourself and your family.

What’s Included

Prenatal Preparation

One prenatal visit focused on preparing for labor together. We’ll go over laboring positions, breathing techniques, comfort measures, and ways your doula can best support you. This visit also gives you time to get comfortable with one another before your birth.

Birth Planning

A second prenatal visit focused on creating your birth plan. We’ll talk through your preferences, questions, and options so you can go into birth feeling informed and prepared.

On-Call Support

Beginning at 37 weeks, your doula is officially on call for your birth. During this time, she remains within a two-hour radius to ensure she is available when you need her.

Labor & Birth Support

When it’s time, your doula will provide continuous, in-person support throughout active labor for up to 18 hours.

Support may include labor positioning, breathing techniques, comfort measures, encouragement, and hands-on support, as well as support for your partner throughout labor and birth.

If active labor support extends beyond 18 hours, additional support is available.

Postpartum Check-In

Your birth support also includes one in-home postpartum visit within the first week after birth.

This is a chance to check in on how you’re doing, talk through your birth experience, answer questions, and offer support as you settle into life with your new baby.
